WARNER ROBINS -- Police are investigating a Sunday night burglary in which one of the suspected burglars was shot. Shortly before 10 p.m., Gabriel Blair Duncan, 18, was at his apartment at 1005 Elberta Road when two men forced their way inside, according to a police news release. Duncan began shooting at the men, who then fled the apartment, the release stated. Police say one of the suspected men, Justin Christopher Gladden, 20, of Warner Robins, was found shot in the 100 block of Dixie Trail. A Raleigh County shooting is under investigation after a homeowner allegedly takes the law into their own hands. At 6 a.m. Monday morning Raleigh County Sheriff's Captain Mitch Barley said a male in his early 20's attempted to break into a home on Haley Hill Drive in Fairdale. Captain Barley said when the homeowner opened the door the intruder attempted to hit the person with a club and then the homeowner shot the intruder in the chest. The alleged intruder is currently receiving treatment at Raleigh General Hospital. Barley said he believes he will recover. No names have been released...

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis police are calling it a case of justifiable homicide. Two men broke into a home in north city Wednesday afternoon and began robbing several people inside. One of the occupants of the home in the 4700 block of Labadie shot at the suspects, hitting one and possibly the other before the intruders ran off. However robbery suspect Jerome Burse, 38, collapsed outside the home and was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The second suspect remains at large. Those inside the home, including a 7-month-old girl, escaped injury.

ST. LOUIS • Wednesday's shooting death of a man at a house on Labadie Avenue was justified because he was breaking into the home at the time, police said Thursday. No charges are being filed against the resident who fired the fatal shot. Police say the case has been classified as a justifiable homicide. In a case that left his heroin-addicted accomplice dead, a Coburg man was sentenced Thursday to nearly six years in prison for participating in the botched robbery of a drug dealer in a southeast Eugene neighborhood. Darrin George Dubouch was convicted of second-­degree robbery and first-­degree burglary, following a brief “stipulated facts” trial in Lane County Circuit Court. Judge Ilisa Rooke-Ley found Dubouch guilty of the felony charges after his attorney admitted that prosecutors had enough evidence to prove the allegations. NEWMAN LAKE, Wash. - A jealous ex-boyfriend broke into the Newman Lake home of his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend early Sunday morning and was shot and killed by the homeowner.
