A Camp Lejeune Marine who shot and killed a nude intruder last month will not face prosecution, District Attorney Ernie Lee said Friday. David Darling, 22, was killed April 8. HOUSTON - A man was killed as he broke into a room at a northwest Houston extended-stay motel Thursday night. Houston police said a motel guest was inside a first-floor room at the Studio 6 Extended Stay on the Northwest Freeway and Rothway Street when he heard glass break about 7:20 p.m. Detectives said a man broke a window and then broke down the door to the room. The motel guest grabbed his gun and shot the man several times, investigators said. The suspect was rushed to Northwest Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died. His name has not been released....

<p>Lubbock police asked a judge to toss out a lawsuit filed by then 90-year-old Willie Williams who claims excessive force related to a shooting incident last year. But a federal judge in Lubbock said ‘no' on Monday.</p><p>Williams, now 91, claims police fired on him in his own apartment as they were responding to a burglary that was reported next door to him. Anthony Jobe said he awoke to his doorbell being rung in the early morning hours at his home in the 2400 block of Hunting Drive. WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting death early this morning at the New York Store, 2254 Isaacs Ave. Deputies were dispatched to the store at 2:30 a.m. on a report of breaking and entering with a shooting.
