FORT WORTH -- A wounded burglary suspect was found in a creek bed Friday afternoon by police who had been called by a woman who said she shot an intruder in her home. The woman told officers that she had picked up her 16-year-old son at school shortly before noon. When they returned to their home in the 6400 block of Peggy Drive, a man was inside, said Sgt. A man inside his home said he fatally shot an intruder who had a gun Thursday morning.

AN INTRUDER was shot and killed when he attempted to rob a pharmacist at his home in Chaguanas on Monday night. The dead man, who was not yet identified up to late yesterday, was shot once in his chest and died in the yard of the home of the man he came to rob. The shooting happened at around 2.45 a.m. at the home of Ravi Sobie, 35, at Edinburgh Village. Other relatives were asleep in the house at the time, police said. DANA POINT, Calif. (KABC) -- A Dana Point resident woke to the sounds of an intruder Monday night, then fatally shot the suspect. The resident has not been charged in the shooting, though the case is still under investigation. The incident happened at a house on the 34000 block of Capistrano By the Sea in Dana Point.
